Hello! Welcome to my world of plants! I am an active gardener growing my appreciation for plants every day. I specialize in formal and informal gardens maximizing YOUR connection to nature.
I design and maintain aesthetic balance through using all my feelings and senses. A lavender for example to brush up against while walking to your back door, or an apple tree to sit under and harvest year after year. An all-inclusive experience and I take you with me every step of the way.
I’m passionate about sustainability in nature and work diligently to support local ecosystems by sticking with native plants that preserve and protect our New England wildlife.
I design in the most picturesque regions of Massachusetts - from the North Shore, to Newton (where I am based) to Cape Cod, and everything in between. After years spent exploring the world of plant cultivation, I present to you a truly grounding experience as we transform your garden into an interactive purposeful place.
What is PlantParenthood?
Nature loves you back when you give it love. How does one love nature? Our connection with nature is inherent through interaction. We feel a child’s sadness when they stub their toe, and wince at the wail of a hungry infant. In the same way, we can look at a plant and know when it is thirsty, or if it lacks a vital nutrient, just as with a child. Now answer this: Why don’t we raise plants like we do our own children? Just because we did not produce them, does not mean they don’t deserve proper care and attention!
Often overlooked, a lack of education kills the majority of plants we raise inside and outside our homes. Identifying invasive plant species and maxamizing utility of your garden are just a few areas which the general homeowner does not involve themselves in. Education is a fundamental element in building a connection with nature. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it will save the flowers.
PlantParenthood provides a platform to educate and provide plant parents with the necessary tools and training to raise their plants right! We push the boundaries of interior and exterior aesthetics by incorporating natural flow and utility. Our designs allow everyone who passes by to experience, connect with, and love nature - so that it can love us back.
